Elena Palacios Carral AA Dipl, MA
PhD Candidate AA School
Elena is a director of architecture design and research platform Forms of Living. She graduated from Diploma at The AA in 2012 and completed The MA in History and Critical Thinking at the same school where she is enrolled as a PhD Candidate. She has worked as an Architectural Designer in Mexico City and the UK and as a researcher at Forensic Architecture. Elena has been a visiting critic at various UK Universities, taught first-year design studio at The University of Hertfordshire in 2017-2018 and co-lead DS7 on the MArchD course at Oxford Brookes from 2018-2021. Currently, Elena is co-leading studio 2.1 at Kingston University in the second year of the undergraduate course, a Design Fellow at Cambridge University, and a Visiting Lecturer at the RCA in the History and Theory studies department in the School of Architecture.

Lola Lozano Lara AA Dipl, ARB

Lola is founding director of architecture design and research platform Forms of Living. She has over ten years of experience working as an architect in London, most recently at Morris+Company. Lola graduated from the AA Diploma, having previously completed her Bachelor studies at Newcastle University. Alongside architectural practice, Lola is enrolled as PhD Candidate at the AA and teaches at various UK universities. She co-lead DS7 on the MArchD course from 2018 - 2021. Currently, Lola is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Kingston co-leading studio 2.1 in the second year of the undergraduate course, a Design Fellow at Cambridge University, Visiting Lecturer at the University of Westminster MA Interior Architecture, and a lecturer of History and Theory in Architecture at RCA and AA.
